Caribbean Plate was curated out of owner Rod O'Savio, who previously ran the well-known Muffin Man Caribbean Cafe for 18 years, and his sandwich shop in Baltimore for 5 years. 

Caribbean Plate was then born in 2015 and is now the finest Jamaican restaurant in the DMV area. When our customers walk into the door, they are greeted by reggae rhythms and the smell of finely seasoned cuisine.
